Where do we carry out our projects?

What impact do our projects have?

Where do we carry out our projects?

The world’s our limit. We want to work anywhere in the world where our contribution can make a difference for the greater good.

What impact do our projects have?

Measuring the impact of our projects is key to the Foundation’s success. It’s essential to know the extent to which our initiatives are achieving the desired change and whether this change is lasting:

Measuring also means learning and improving. We do our best to measure exactly what we achieve through our projects and to identify room for improvement.

We measure impact by incorporating mechanisms and monitoring indicators into the design of our programs to allow us to know how well we are doing. We are also supported by external independent experts who help us to learn and to systematize our achievements. This allows us to replicate our projects in other communities and make the necessary adjustments.

How do we manage our partnerships?

Our Foundation is committed to building partnerships to deliver bigger and longer-lasting change.

We subscribe to the philosophy set out in the United Nations 2030 Agenda, which states that partnerships between different actors must be transformative and based on principles and values. They must also be based on a shared vision and objectives and deliver a real, sustained and sustainable impact over time. Lastly, they need to take advantage of the skills of all those involved.

This makes partnerships a vital aspect of delivering on the objectives set by social organizations. Their benefits include opening up new areas for action, helping limit risks for achieving our objectives, providing access to new technology and strengthening the image of our brand.

The Foundation pursues partnerships with leading figures and institutions in the areas in which it works.

How we funded?

The Foundation has a financing plan with annual fundraising targets.

The plan defines activities to obtain funding from sources including members and donors, partnerships with companies, governmental public tenders, and the sale of products and services.

Full details of the origin of all our funds are provided in our annual report.

If you are interested in making a donation to the Foundation, see the Donations page or contact us.

How do we invest our funds?

We are fully committed to respecting the wishes of individual and institutional donors. We invest all our funds in line with the conditions or indications that accompany funding requests.

We aim to spend as much as possible on the direct implementation of our projects, trying to maximize their impact on the vulnerable people and communities we work with.

To make our programs as effective as possible, the Foundation requires staff, technical resources and materials. We are committed to ensuring our team is as strong as possible, employing dedicated individuals who have the right knowledge and skills to do their job.

We also produce an annual audit to show the accountability and sound management of the Foundation. The results of the audit are published annually on our website.

How do we guarantee accountability?

The Foundation is governed by the Spanish legislation on foundations (Law 4/2002) and we fully comply with all requirements.

We have procedures in place to guarantee accountability and transparency:

  • We have a program to comply with measures to prevent crime and money laundering.
  • We also have an independent whistleblower channel available to anyone involved with the Foundation. Issues can be reported by sending an email to hola@ctw-foundation.org
  • Our accounts are audited annually and the results are published.
  • We have approved a work-life balance plan, which has been agreed by all our staff.
  • We have adopted an equality and occupational risk prevention plan.
  • We are also open to any suggestions or comments to improve the Foundation’s accountability and management. Email us at hola@ctw-foundation.org

Can I propose a project?

What role does Okuda play?

Okuda is the creative essence and source of inspiration at the heart of the Foundation. His unshakable belief that art and color are a transformational force that can bring optimism, inclusion and social justice to the world led a group of people to set up the Foundation.

Okuda contributes his ideas and talent to maximize the transformative force of the Foundation’s programs. He is its honorary president and its biggest ambassador, opening doors to ensure the Foundation is as widely recognized as possible.

Okuda is not involved in the day-to-day running of the Foundation and he does not contribute to its operational decisions. This responsibility is delegated to its Executive Board.

Can other artists get involved?

Of course. The CTWF is open to all artists who share its values and want to contribute their creative energy to build a better world.

We believe that allowing talented people to join forces benefits the Foundation and all the communities we want to work with to improve their quality of life.

Can I propose a project?

If you have an idea or project that you think aligns with the Foundation’s values, let us know and we’ll do our best to help you make it a reality.

All our activities must be based on complying fully with our mission, generating a positive impact and guaranteeing the efficient use of funds and transparency. If your project meets these criteria, we will do our best to help you.
